This book was about a teenage boy that loved baseball but was struggling with his life at home and school Girls can be a big distraction to someone who wants to succeed and focus on something else This made me feel like a teenager being able to read it and I was able to relate this book to my life A lot of people could relate it because lots of people play sports or have girlfriends and boyfriends Colt the main character will be struggling to do what he wants but hopefully it will play out This book was about a teenage boy that loved baseball but was struggling with his life at home and school Girls can be a big distraction to someone who wants to succeed and focus on something else This made me feel like a teenager being able to read it and I was able to relate this book to my life A lot of people could relate it because lots of people play sports or have girlfriends and boyfriends Colt the main character will be struggling to do what he wants but hopefully it will play out for him This is a great book to read It is very easy to follow and it is not cryptic or confusing how other books tend to be The only reason I would not rate it a five out of five is that it seemed to lack events Most of the book was very focussed in one area, but what helps to maintain a four out of five stars is the changes the character goes through and the turning points Those turning points allow you to think critically about how exactly you think the character has changed and why This is a go This is a great book to read It is very easy to follow and it is not cryptic or confusing how other books tend to be The only reason I would not rate it a five out of five is that it seemed to lack events Most of the book was very focussed in one area, but what helps to maintain a four out of five stars is the changes the character goes through and the turning points Those turning points allow you to think critically about how exactly you think the character has changed and why This is a good book for people who like to determine whether the ending ended positively or negatively It was a good book but It needs a sequel I feel like there sto the story for Colton trammel A good but not great quick young adult book.

Just As She Did In Her Acclaimed Novel Damage, Author A M Jenkins Strikes To The Heart Of An Outwardly Confident Teenager To Expose Surprising Sensitivity, Uncertainty, And Humor Within.
o Jenkins Successfully Tackles Such Common Young Adult Themes As Peer Pressure And Self Esteem By Addressing Them Through An Inquisitive And Likeable Character To Whom Teens Will Easily Relate.
o Out of Order Will Resonate With Girls And Boys, Reluctant And Avid Readers.
Ages 12 Some what a decent book, but the author left many things unanswered as well as letting the characters be happy in their own way, the author never really explained, showed, or clarify the theme of the story.

5This story is pretty good, but ended too quickly, without any real resolution which bothered me Yes, Colt did grow up some and did learn some, but I wanted to witnessof the after, how he actually changed in his every day dealings with everyone This needed to be a few chapters longer, imo.
Colt isn t a very likeable character throughout most of the book He is very full of himself, thinking he s at the top of the heap in his high school hierarchy and looking down on everyone else He pu 3.

Colt isn t a very likeable character throughout most of the book He is very full of himself, thinking he s at the top of the heap in his high school hierarchy and looking down on everyone else He pushed people away with his attitude before they have a chance to push him away or find out that, in his opinion, he isn t very bright He cares only about baseball and figuring out a way to get his on again off again girlfriend into having sex with him She confuses him and he s constantly trying to be what she wants, never measuring up and feeling bad about himself because of it Even though Colt isn t a very nice character, he s written in such a way that he s still a sympathetic character You ll have to read the book to see what I mean I wanted someone to take the time to get past his attitude and figure out why he has such trouble learning It seemed that maybe he had dyslexia or some other learning disability and I wanted one of his teachers to care enough about him to notice that he actually had problems with language skills.
All in all, a good read, worth the time.
